Utah State University (USU) / Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) have ported the Space Plug-and-Play Avionics (SPA) Satellite Data Model (SDM) to Ã…AC's 32 bit OpenRISC 1200-FTâ„¢  fault tolerant processor architecture.

This marks a large step forward for the U.S. and Swedish collaboration on advanced Plug-and-Play technologies. It also marks the release of Ã…AC's "Rapid Integration Architecture, RIA" portfolio of components and systems. The SDM can be run on Ã…AC's On-board Computer (OBC)/Remote Terminal Unit 500 and 800 series of products.
